Before I address the Scriptural proofs of this, though, it is important to first take a moment here to address another, even more serious and profound error, which likewise comes out of this false view about the image of God.

Namely, it is from this unScriptural view of "male and female" supposedly being the image of God, wherein an even greater departure from the Word of God then occurs. Namely, some will even go so far with that false doctrine, of supposed "male and female" image of God, that they will even try to suggest that there is a "feminine" God.

God forbid!

Indeed, some will suggest, for just one example, the sheer falsehood that the Holy Ghost, the very Spirit of YHWH, is a supposed 'female' aspect of God. They would "feminize" God! For example, they would falsely purport the absolute falsehood that "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost" are a supposed "family" of "father, son, and mother"!

With this, they are suddenly teaching that God is our "mother" in the form of the Holy Spirit. God forbid!

When such ones would do so, they are simply revealing how, truly, they just do not KNOW the Spirit, never mind the fact that they reveal how they clearly do not know the obviousness of the Scriptures in this matter, either.
