And so, therefore, the SECOND Adam, which is Christ, had to come (being the Word made flesh and dwell among us humans on earth), to shed His perfect Blood on the Cross, to rise again, and then to ascend to be seated on the right hand of the Father until He return in glory for us, all so that death (the wages of our sin) would be conquered through the salvation bought for us by His Blood shed at the Cross. Hallelujah! (Thank you Lord, my God!!!)
"And so it is written,
The first man Adam was made a living soul;
the last Adam [[ i.e., Christ ]] was made a quickening spirit.
"Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual,
but that which is natural,
and AFTERWARD,
that which is spiritual.
"The first man [[ i.e., Adam ]] is of the earth, earthy:
the second man [[ i.e., Christ ]] is the Lord from heaven.
"As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy:
and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly."
(1_Corinthians 15:45-48.)
We do not follow after the "earthy", but after the spiritual.
We are not to walk in the flesh, but to walk in the Spirit.
As it is written,
"There is therefore
NOW
no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh,
but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1.)
And so, as the first Adam brought death, are we to then
follow after that as a supposed "original" plan? God forbid.
Else Christ died in vain. God forbid again.
And so, really, in bringing this to the matter of the "original"
plan of God for marriage, it is still irrelevant to us.
We do not follow after the first Adam,
but after the Second Adam, which is Christ Jesus the Lord. Amen.
