Mark Henkel, the Founder of TruthBearer.org, has appeared in reports from the AP (i.e., the Associated Press). These reports were then picked up and published by various news organizations.
In the September 06, 2006 report, Mr. Henkel was quoted as being glad that Jeffs had been caught. The report also clarified quite well that there is a growing movement of Christian Polyamists around the country who have nothing to do with any concepts of Mormonism.
In the November 24, 2006 report, Mr. Henkel was quoted with a powerful soundbite regarding concepts of "hate speech" in relation to how the Jeffs case in Utah does not even involve polygamy at all. Some news sources even displayed a picture of Mr. Henkel along with their reports.
In the November 21, 2007 report, Mr. Henkel was quoted in providing the National Polygamy Movement's response to the sentencing of Utah/Arizona criminal, Warren Jeffs.
