After a December 26, 2003, polygamy article in The Washington Blade was published about the Founder of TruthBearer.org, that same article was reposted two days later at MarriageDebate.com, titled, "Polygamy Supporters Heartened."

MarriageDebate.com is the web-site of "The Institute for Marriage and Public Policy." It was founded by syndicated columnist, Maggie Gallagher.

Prior to that above article, Maggie Gallagher had a cordial yet brief correspondence in 2003 with the Founder of TruthBearer.org. Ultimately, Gallagher decided that polygamists should have no voice of their own in the ongoing "marriage debate" she presents to the media. (Our arguments are just too persuasive when we present them ourselves.) Despite framing it all as a "marriage debate," the exclusion of pro-polygamists from that debate obviously means that there can be no genuinely full-balanced DEBATE about MARRIAGE.

Even so, Gallagher's decision did not stop her from subsequently writing about polygamy, "The Road to Polygamy". Nor did it equally prevent her from also making some positive polygamy comments as well.
