On March 13, 2006, Mark Henkel, the Founder of TruthBearer.org, appeared as a guest on a local radio talk show in Salt Lake City, Utah, The Tom Barberi Show. He was there to provide a national perpective on the issue of polygamy.

Coming onto the show after a propagandistic appearance by Vicky Prunty of a little local group of ex-Fundamentliast Mormon Polygamous women in Utah, Mr. Henkel explained how that woman honestly has no idea about Christian Polygamy. He also pointed out how her comments falsely mislead people by implying that all polygamy is Mormon Polygamy, when it is not. As the National Polygamy Adbocate, he made a good case explaining how Christian Polygamy is NOT Mormon Polygamy and why it is entirely unconstitutional to ban polygamy - particularly the Christian Polygamy form.

Yet, for a radio show that markets a phrase-line of wanting to "legalize adulthood," it was surprising that the liberal host was unwilling to conduct a mature discussion, and instead only ended up looking like another foolish liberal bully. Even so, Mr. Henkel held his own and assertively presented the arguments for polygamy quite successfully well.

On the show's blog about the appearance, however, they continued the liberal foolishness. The blog reports how some "listener" supposedly explained how the Supreme Court had rejected religious arguments as a basis for polygamy. Of course, such a response came after Mr. Henkel's appearance. Being granted such little amount of time for an appearance on the show, he had never been able to actually show how a very recent 8-0 Supreme Court Decision in February 21, 2006, "Gonzales v. O Centro Espirita Beneficente Uniao Do Vegetal", had completely changed all that, particularly for the new movement and paradigm of Christian Polygamy. So, the blog report was simply another example of typical liberal deception, combined with the common Mormon-centric bias often found throughout the Utah regional media (in thinking that Mormonism somehow owns a "trademark" on the meaning of polygamy).
