And now "I shew you a mystery". (1_Corinthians 15:51b.) "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith", that "the Holy Ghost... teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance". (Revelation 3:22a-[b], John 14:26[b],[d],e.)
In a parable of Jesus, the very words of Abraham's answer to the rich man in Luke 16:29 apply unto all who are ashamed of the Scriptures, the Written Word. "Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them."
But the rich man rebutted, as would any unrighteous and rich man today. He asked that someone from the dead be sent to warn (and call to repent) the rich man's brothers who followed after his own unrighteousness.
And Jesus Christ, the One Who is the Word (per John 1:1,14), is the Truth (per John 14:6), has risen from the dead (per Acts 4:10), and is seated "on the right hand of the Majesty on high" (Hebrews 1:3[e]), concluded that parable with Abraham's Warning, even unto all. "If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." (Luke 16:31b-d.)
O how I would that you would receive that revelation by the Holy Ghost, for "the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God ...that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." (1_Corinthians 2:11[c]-d,12d.)
And "Of these things put them in remembrance". (2_Timothy 2:14a.) Be not ashamed of the gospel, neither of the testimony, nor of the Word of Truth; but, rather, glory in tribulation for suffering hatred and rejection for so being not ashamed. And let all who have erred, even in the innocency of their heart, now repent and stumble no more.
Moreover, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD of Truth." (2_Timothy 2:15.)
"Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed". (1_Peter 4:16a-b.)
"For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on ((the WORD)) shall not be ashamed." (Romans 10:11.)
Amen! Alleluia! Praise ye the LORD!
