Lest I be misunderstood, there are indeed more Scriptures than only that which is called by so-called "Protestants" as the "Holy Bible". In the Old Testament, we see two different authors referring to the "book of Jasher" (or the "book of the upright/straight"). This is mentioned in Joshua 10:13 and 2_Samuel 1:18. In the New Testament, we see two different authors referring to a book of a prophet named Enoch, seventh descendant of Adam (counting Adam). Paul refers to what Enoch had given "testimony", in Hebrews 11:5. The other Judas (not Iscariot) actually reminds us what the prophet Enoch had foreseen, in Jude 14,15. Thus, there are indeed more Scriptures than we may know.
After all, all Scripture is simply the Written Word of God. If God is capable of raising up prophets, could He not equally be capable of writing down such words? After all, did not Peter refer to Paul's writings and epistles as Scripture, in 2_Peter 3:15-16? Indeed, let us not be so arrogant as to think that God is not so capable. Indeed, God forbid.
...Which brings this back almost full circle. That is, all TRUE "scripture" must be in conformity with the TRUE Scripture before it. Accordingly, all prophets who are not speaking PRESUMPTUOUSLY must speak in conformity with the TRUE Scripture before them. This is the only way that TRUTH can be correctly "divided". This must be true for, after all, as Jesus said in John 10:35c: "the scripture cannot be broken". Why? It is simply because, as Paul said in 1_Corinthians 14:33a: "God is not the author of confusion".
