For as God has said, "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: and the soul that sinneth, it shall die." (Ezekiel 18:4.) "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23.) Alleluia!

But be not arrogant. "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation"? (Hebrews 2:3a-b.) The salvation unto righteousness is not by man, but by God. And man must repent of his iniquities when he does them. No, God is not the author of the sin a man would do. Learn and remember the truth of the justice of our God, for He is truly merciful in giving a way out of death for so great a wretch as man is.

"The soul that sinneth, it shall die...

"Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

"But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done SHALL NOT BE MENTIONED: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and IN HIS SIN that he hath sinned, in them SHALL HE DIE.

"Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel ((even all children of God who will so question)); Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

"When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.

"Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. Because he considereth, and turneth away from ALL his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die." (Ezekiel 18:20a-b,23-28.)

Therefore will God judge according to His equal justice. If we can repent of our sins and they be forgotten, then so too will our past righteousness be forgotten in the day that we sin. But praise God that we can again repent, and live! Alleluia!

As God has said, "Therefore I will judge you, ...every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD.

"Repent, and turn yourselves from ALL your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin." (Ezekiel 18:30a,c-g.)

And "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength." (Mark 12:30[a]-d.) And in loving Him, keep His Commandments (according to God's ways, and not to man's ways), for as He has said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15.)

"We love him, because he first loved us." (1_John 4:19.) For indeed, because He so loved us, "he gave his only begotten Son". (John 3:16b.) "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us". (1_John 3:16a-b.)

And "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13.)

Yes, Jesus Christ on the cross for salvation, His death for our life, now that is love. Now that is the gospel of the Resurrected and Ascended Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Alleluia!

And the Lord promises His Second Coming, "Surely I come quickly. Amen.

"Even so, come, Lord Jesus." (Revelation 22:20b-f.)

Amen. Alleluia. Praise ye the LORD!
