"Hear ye this" (Isaiah 48:1a), "Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer" (Isaiah 48:17a-b),

"I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them". (Isaiah 48:3a-c.)

"Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;

"I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee...

"Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it?

"I have shewed thee new things from this time ((that you did not know)), even hidden things ((which have always been true)), and thou didst not know them.

"They are created now ((for the ears of the repentant to hear and receive revelation)), and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.

"Yea, thou heardest them not; yea, thou knewest them not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb." (Isaiah 48:4-5b,6-8.)

Therefore, "Repent ye" of your hypocrisy, of your iniquity, and of your obstinacy, "And ((I)) will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." (Matthew 3:2b, 2_Corinthians 6:18.) "For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off. Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another." (Isaiah 48:9-11.)

"Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the TRUTH.

"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy", even the "Grace/Law Hypocrisy" (thereby "Speaking lies in hypocrisy"), "But speaking the TRUTH in love." (James 3:13-14,17, 1_Timothy 4:2a, Ephesians 4:15a.)

For "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." (Hebrews 13:8.) "For I am the LORD, I change not". (Malachi 3:6a-b.) "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15.)

Therefore, "Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD." (Jeremiah 9:23-24.)

But if you be such a one who will not heed these words nor repent,"Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets ((in Habakkuk 1:5)), Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you." (Acts13:40-41.) For hereby does the Lord GOD do "a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: ((as)) the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid." (Isaiah 29:14c-f.)

Indeed, as it now be known, "God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are". (1_Corinthians 1:27-28.)
