Chapter 1 - In Truth and Love, In Spirit and In Truth - The TRUTH: Obedience in Love For a Sign - TruthBearer.Org -- Bringing Christian Polygamy to the Churches!

"Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath." (Mark 4:24b-25.)

"He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." (Matthew 11:15.)

The Lord has preserved Himself a Remnant. The Remnant "walk in love" (Ephesians 5:2[a]) and "walk in truth" (3_John [4]). "((S))peaking the truth in love" and having "put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness" (Ephesians 4:15a,24), "the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:23-24.)

Worshipping in the spirit, by the Holy Ghost, and in the truth, of the Holy Scriptures, the Remnant will obey God and keep His Commandments because of love. As Jesus commanded in Mark 12:30-31: "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." After all, "God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." (1_John 4:16b-d.)

Indeed, the Remnant know this exhortation in 1_John 4:6d-7b, 5:3: "Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another... For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: AND HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT GRIEVOUS." In love, the Remnant obey God's Commandments ungrievously, worshipping the Father in spirit and in truth, by the Holy Ghost and the Holy Scriptures. Alleluia!

To obey God's Commandments is to KNOW His Commandments. Jesus proclaimed in John 8:31b-32: "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall KNOW the truth, and the truth shall make you free." That His Remnant shall KNOW that truth, Christ Jesus also added, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (John 14:26.) How truly the Remnant understand the 1_Corinthians 2:9-16 passage, that begins by exhorting: "But as it is written ((in the Scriptures, Isaiah 64:4)), Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that LOVE Him. But God hath revealed them unto US by his Spirit". Alleluia!

Yet, Jesus Christ explained unto them that love Him, in keeping His Commandments (John 14:15), "the Spirit of truth; ...the WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him". (John 14:17.) However, He concluded that explanation with the following comfort to His Remnant: "but ye know him ((Spirit of truth)); for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

The Remnant, "in truth and love" (2_John 3g), KNOW the Truth of the Holy Scriptures by the Holy Spirit, thereby worshipping in spirit and in truth, loving God, and ungrievously obeying His Commandments. Alleluia!
